Holiday Family Traditions | Little Rock Moms Network

Well that’s a wrap on this holiday season,

through all the lights and ornaments and presents and treats it’s so easy to get caught up in the stress of the season, but looking back it’s not the perfection but the magic of the season that my little one takes to heart.

Though so much gets caught up in the preparation, it’s the memories we make that last a life time so check out a few of my favorite holiday traditions that we were able to share with my little guys this year and some new ones too!

There are a few “Must Do’s” every Christmas for me, starting with a visit to Santa. This year was so special because my little was FINALLY big enough to get some of the Christmas excitement! He booked it over to Santa, but only after repeatedly telling me how Santa has claws, that those claws are sharp and can give him a booboo. (That is probably my favorite memory of this Christmas!)

We also have to take a trip out to see some amazing Christmas lights! This year we went out to Garvan Woodland Gardens, and it couldn’t have been more of a hit. From the train set display to all the different lights and especially the Christmas tree timed with music that got all the kids singing and dancing it was a great family night out!

We also make cookies for Santa. This was my little’s first year to decorate cookies and he had a blast! (I’m still sweeping sprinkles up off the floor.) Along with the cookies we always leave Santa a COKE in a glass bottle, because it just tastes better!

What are your families holiday traditions or favorite memories from this holiday season??
